Job Summary
Cover sales routes and assist the Sales team in the Seattle market to achieve Odom and supplier goals. Maximize sales results by pre-planning objectives, making persuasive presentations, and following up with customers to solicit orders. Manage merchandising by applying shelf management guidelines, designing displays, and organizing on-site promotions while ensuring products are properly stocked and rotated. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety policies, using pallet jacks, and lifting up to 250 pounds as needed. This role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and strong self-motivation to work with little direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable)
- Own means of reliable transportation
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to work with very little direct supervision
- Must be highly organized
- Must have strong ability to work quickly and accurately while handling competing priorities
- Must be able to use pallet jacks and hand carts
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10-25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally move/push or pull up to 250 pounds
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, lift product floor to waist, shoulder to overhead
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Beverage sales and/or merchandising experience
- Knowledge of local market
- Customer service skills
- Experience in the distribution industry
