Job Summary
Part-time Administrative Assistant in a tree-care company, splitting time between outbound sales calls and learning to recruit, in a hybrid role. Responsibilities include outbound sales calls and leads/estimates follow-up, contacting clients to confirm written estimates, following up with project bids, post-project surveys, using the ATS to find candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing and sending surveys, interpreting results, coordinating on-site interviews, and supporting hiring/onboarding workflows. You’ll write and edit concise email templates, job ads, call scripts, interview questions, and candidate communications; maintain CRM records; perform local errands with transportation; and contribute to a dynamic sales and recruiting workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- excellent written communication and editing skills
- fast and efficient typing
- outgoing, extroverted personality; comfortable making high-volume outbound phone calls
- able to spend roughly 5 hours/day on outbound calls
- reliable personal transportation and willingness to run errands within the Berkeley area
- residence within a 40-minute commute of Berkeley, CA
- strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask across sales and recruiting priorities
Desired Qualifications
