Job Summary

Sales Proposal Manager responsible for preparing proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Develops vision on an important market at a product-line level with a long-term perspective and leads business development planning processes for this market. Key duties include developing proposals, potentially negotiating with customers, ensuring deals deliver shareholder value, driving competitive pricing, and compiling/submitting required tender documentation. Works with products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and understanding of the environment where they will be used; sales processes require technical analysis and adaptation to client conditions. Manages complex sales involving multiple stakeholders across client and internal teams (engineering, legal, risk, finance, etc.), handling technical, economical, logistical and financial aspects in proposal creation. Oversees important business-unit clients across medium-large, multi-country markets. Location-focused experience includes Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) and Mexico City.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Proposals
  • Advanced English level
  • Ability to understand technical project requirements and support the development of suitable commercial and execution frameworks
  • Exposure to commercial discussions, proposals, customer engagement, or contracting structures
  • Strong technical background with good commercial awareness
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyse technical and commercial risks and support practical solutions
  • Ability to work across technical, commercial, legal, finance, risk, and operations teams
  • Good negotiation and customer engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Established project management skills
