Job Summary
Sales Project Coordinator coordinates complex sales projects between Sales, Engineering, Operations, field representatives, EPC firms, and end-user teams to ensure smooth execution of high-profile capital projects. Responsible for creating detailed quotations with precise pricing and commercial terms, coordinating technical and commercial alignment with Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Sales, conducting virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, tracking milestones, managing technical submittals and documentation, maintaining CRM records, and supporting order entry and review of contractual requirements. Field sales support includes assisting with specification through project awards, providing technical guidance on sizing concepts and product configurations, and delivering on-site product presentations to EPC customers and engineers. The role also involves commercial and contract support such as reviewing customer terms and conditions, identifying commercial risks and deviations, participating in nuclear transaction contract reviews, and coordinating internal approvals for non-standard terms. Desirable attributes include strong organizational skills, customer-facing communication, knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, and experience with industrial equipment and project-based sales cycles. Travel with field representatives to customer sites is periodic, and the job emphasizes desk-based coordination with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years experience in project coordination, inside sales, or industrial sales support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CRM systems
- Experience supporting manufacturer representative networks or field sales teams
- Experience working with EPC firms or industrial end users
- Background in industrial equipment, pressure relief devices, or engineered products
- Understanding of project-based sales cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
