Job Summary
Sales Professional responsible for generating revenue through pre-need and at-need cemetery arrangements while serving families, acting as the primary contact, and building trust-based relationships to earn referrals. Responsibilities include lead generation (minimum 1-2 hours of prospecting daily), obtaining referrals, networking with communities, presenting to families, preparing for appointments with professionalism, collaborating with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service, and maintaining satisfaction by timely, empathetic communication. Must develop an understanding of each family’s needs and offer values-based solutions, with emphasis on aftercare and long-term protection for families.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of college or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass company presentation certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
- Knowledge of computers and some software
- License to obtain an insurance license if required by state/province
