Job Summary

Sales Professional responsible for achieving turnover goals, market share and business targets in the defined area. The role involves customer coverage and generation of enquiries, developing effective customer relations, preparing formal quotations and successfully concluding sales, acquisition of new customers and new applications, identifying growth opportunities, delivering technical presentations with support from applications engineering, conducting tests and demonstrations, coordinating with Product Manager for product gap analysis and promotions, and providing feedback on customer opportunities. The position requires comprehensive technical knowledge of metalworking, exposure to cutting tools, CNC machining, and machining strategies, along with strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve sales targets and drive productivity improvements across the customer base.

Required Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering) with minimum 5-7 years’ experience
  • Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering) with minimum 8-10 years in direct industrial consumable industry in the similar function
  • Candidates from Tooling / Machine Tools or similar industry is preferred
  • Candidates from sales management experience in a budgeted sales area, with a successful track record is preferred
  • Strong Communication (Verbal and Written) and Presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Pleasant disposition, good interpersonal skills
  • Computer Knowledge: Windows – Word, Excel, Power Point - Sound knowledge
