Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate responsibilities include greeting and engaging customers, uncovering home furnishing needs to help realize design visions, generating sales through a consultative approach, building rapport with customers through strong interpersonal and listening skills, encouraging additional product purchases to complete rooms, working as a team to achieve sales goals, explaining financing and protection plans, and demonstrating product value and benefits tailored to customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
