Job Summary
Sales Professional – Outside Sales role responsible for presenting cemetery and cremation services to families, generating leads, and guiding clients through final contracts. Develops relationships within the community, conducts in-person prospecting (events, door knocking, seminars), and follows up on leads from marketing campaigns. Delivers product presentations using the Personal Planning Guide, influences decision-makers through soft closes, and walks families through contract details. Maintains CRM activity, tracks progress toward a monthly revenue quota, builds professional relationships, and provides post-sale support and referrals. Requires strong public speaking, relationship-building, teamwork, and availability for evenings/weekends; bilingual ability is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework preferred
- Funeral Directors License where required by state law
- Life Insurance license where required by state law (company will support licensing)
- Current state/province driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Sales experience preferred
- CRM experience a plus
- Public speaking ability; comfortable presenting to small groups
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Bilingual is a plus
