Job Summary
Sales Professional – Outside Sales role focused on growing pre-need and cemetery service sales by building relationships with client families and the community. Responsibilities include lead generation through face-to-face outreach (events, door knocking, group seminars), securing referrals, presenting the Dignity Memorial Personal Planning Guide, maintaining activity and scheduling for appointments, educating families on options, and coordinating with Funeral Directors and team members to ensure seamless service. Requires prospecting at least 4 hours daily, flexible evening/weekend availability, and ability to work from home or in the field, with a focus on earning quota through relationship-building and follow-through.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college or equivalent experience
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- In states/provinces where required, must hold a Funeral Directors License to perform this role
- Sales experience or one to two years industry experience or equivalent education
- Previous experience with CRM systems is a plus
- Ability to work beyond standard hours as the need arises
- Creative, outgoing and energetic personality with strong communication skills
- Bilingual, knowledge of another language is a plus
