Job Summary
Present at-need cemetery and pre-need arrangement services and products to consumers while achieving monthly sales targets. Generate qualified leads by prospecting at least 50% of the workday through face-to-face approaches, door knocking, and seminars. Schedule sales appointments, guide prospective families through cemetery grounds, and complete contracts following company procedures. Maintain CRM databases to track activity levels, often working nights and weekends. Build professional relationships with families to obtain referrals and resolve concerns during times of grief.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Funeral Directors License where required by state law
- Life Insurance license where required by state law
- Ability to work a significant number of evenings and weekends
- Goal oriented self-starter
- Public speaking ability
- Comfortable presenting to small groups
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
Desired Qualifications
- College coursework
- Sales experience
- Industry experience
- Previous Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience
- Bilingual
