Job Summary
Develop trusting relationships with prospective and existing client families to generate sales leads and schedule appointments, including evenings and weekends. Input client contact information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and utilize CRM software to source leads from campaigns and prior sales. Apply listening and empathy skills to guide clients through the pre-planning process, show property features, and explain insurance product options. Complete sales and insurance contracts ensuring accuracy while collaborating with funeral directors and other departments. Seek manager coaching to improve sales techniques and product knowledge. Available to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain insurance license as required by state/province
- Current state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Professional demeanor
- Communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including MS office suite
- Available to work evenings and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Sales or Customer experience
- Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Bilingual, knowledge of another language
- Proficient computer skills with CRM and Social Networking Apps
