Job Summary
Inside Sales position focused on serving families by arranging cemetery and pre-need services, generating revenue, and acting as primary contact for families. Responsibilities include lead generation, obtaining referrals, networking with communities, presenting to families, maintaining activity levels, building trust-based relationships to encourage referrals, collaborating with funeral directors and cemetery staff, preparing for appointments, handling inquiries professionally, and supporting aftercare and future services with empathy and clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college or equivalent
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Insurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board
- Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province law
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
- Proficiency in computers and some software
- Internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
