Job Summary
Inside Sales role selling pre-need cemetery arrangements and providing personalized service to families; responsibilities include lead generation (minimum 1-2 hours daily), obtaining referrals, presenting to families, maintaining activity levels, building trust-based relationships, responding to inquiries with empathy and respect, developing an understanding of each family’s needs and offering value-driven solutions, preparing for appointments, collaborating with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service, and supporting aftercare and referrals. The position requires strong communication, relationship-building, and customer-service skills, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and may require a driver’s license and, where applicable, an insurance license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Insurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board
- Ability to pass the Company’s internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends every month
- Ability to drive frequently
