Job Summary
Accountable for serving client families by making cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need arrangements; generates revenue for the cemetery and serves as the primary contact for families. Leads generation and prospecting (1–2 hours daily), obtains referrals, networks with the community, presents to families, and maintains activity levels. Builds trust-based relationships, responds to inquiries promptly and professionally, prepares for appointments, collaborates with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service, and promotes pre-planning benefits to protect family members. Target compensation to $50,000–$100,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred
- Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Insurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board
- Ability to pass the Company’s internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
- Ability to drive frequently
- Ability to treat others with empathy and respect
- Knowledge of computers and some software
- Customer service skills
