Job Summary
Provide strategic recommendations and guidance to field sales teams based on in-depth analysis of forecasts and market data. Collaborate to create action plans that improve forecast accuracy and drive business results, balancing customer needs with company goals. Equip Customer Sales Leads with appropriate tools, insights and reporting to support business initiatives and achieve operating plan commitments. Drive new fiscal year Planning Cycle to ensure Category priorities and Sales Planning Guidance is delivered to Sales Field in a timely manner. Develop a strong understanding of the monthly and annual forecasting cycle, including process milestones, stakeholders, and software applications. Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and trade fund allocation processes, ensuring field sales perspectives are represented and aligned with broader strategic objectives. Collaborate with field sales to evaluate and optimize promotional support plans within established guardrails, ensuring alignment with return on investment (ROI) targets and strategic priorities. Serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams, including Go To Market, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Sales Finance and IT to ensure flow of information and maintain operations. Leverage expert knowledge of the TPM system to identify planning improvements through accurate and efficient system inputs. Lead or support special projects and initiatives as needed to address evolving business needs or strategic opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of prior internal or external sales experience
