Job Summary
Sales Person at Farmers Furniture assists customers in selecting and purchasing home furnishings to achieve and maintain sales goals. Responsibilities include maintaining sales quotas, advising customers on quality and value, developing expertise in customer experience and sales execution, verifying prices, applying discounts, setting up displays, tagging merchandise, coordinating delivery/pickup, handling customer inquiries and complaints, performing telemarketing prospecting, updating CRM records, attending sales meetings, ensuring store cleanliness and orderliness, processing credit applications, and upholding company values (H.O.M.E) and display/telephone standards. Requires basic high school education and prior retail experience; customer interaction, data entry, and basic mathematical/analytical skills are emphasized; familiarity with CRM systems and POS equipment is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- six months experience in practical retail sells; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
