Job Summary
Greet and assist customers in purchasing hunting and archery merchandise (non-firearms) by identifying needs, making product recommendations, and promoting club memberships. Demonstrate products to clients and maintain accurate pricing and signage. Organize and replenish floor merchandise, assist with seasonal moves, and keep work areas stocked and clean. Remain product experts through ongoing training and follow all company policies. This part-time role offers discounts on retail merchandise, dining, and resorts, plus dental, vision, and 401k benefits. Bass Pro Shops is North America's premier outdoor and conservation company.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in Retail
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms)
- GCA
- Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise
- Must be able to constantly stand and/or walk during shift
- Must be able to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Must be able to constantly communicate with others to exchange information
- Must be able to occasionally repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Must be able to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
- Must be able to occasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Must be able to light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly
- Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to occasionally work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to occasionally work in noisy environments
- Must be able to perform tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation
- Must be able to choose from limited alternatives to resolve problems
- Must be able to make occasional independent judgment to complete work assignments
- Must be able to make recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices
