Job Summary
Sales Outfitter for Firearms at Bass Pro Shops (Part-Time) handling counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise. Responsibilities include greeting customers, identifying needs, making product recommendations, promoting programs (e.g., CLUB membership, VOC, in-store pickup), ensuring 4473 forms are completed accurately, demonstrating products, maintaining the gun counter, organizing merchandise, restocking per guidelines, maintaining product knowledge, staying informed on advertised sales, and supporting seasonal floor moves. Requires knowledge of firearms and ammunition, ATF/State regulations, customer service, and merchandising abilities; involves standing, occasional lifting, and operating relevant equipment. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 0-2 years in Retail
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Knowledge of Firearms and Ammunition
- Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations
- Knowledge of GCA (Gun Control Act)
- Customer Service and Sales of Firearms and Ammunition
- Merchandise stocking and floor presentation
