Job Summary
Conduct fitness consultations, assessments, and goal-setting sessions while designing and delivering customized personal training programs. Educate members on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits to build lasting relationships that improve engagement and retention. Actively sell personal training programs, convert leads into long-term clients, and generate new business through referrals, outreach, and community events. Execute club marketing initiatives, maintain accurate client records, and support daily operations while contributing ideas to improve business performance. This part-time role combines coaching, sales, and leadership at Anytime Fitness Barrington, with significant potential to advance into a full-time leadership position.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proven sales experience, lead generation, or the ability to confidently convert prospects into long-term clients
- Business-minded with a genuine desire to help grow membership, personal training revenue, and overall club performance
- Passion for helping members achieve their health and fitness goals
- Knowledge of exercise physiology, body mechanics, nutrition, and proper exercise technique
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, punctual, and professional
- Honest, trustworthy, and accountable
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn all Anytime Fitness systems, procedures, and operations
- A proactive mindset that focuses on execution, accountability, and continuous improvement
