Job Summary
Senior Sales Operations Manager responsible for overseeing trade management systems handling >$550MM in trade promotion spend and leading the in-store merchandising program with third-party vendors. Drives process improvement across sales tools, technology, and merchandising vehicles; manages cross-functional collaboration, budgeting, and end-to-end processes, including distressed product handling. Leads a 7-member Sales Operations team (4 direct, 3 indirect), partners with vendors, and ensures effective communication to sales and broker partners. Requires experience with TPM/Sales Link, merchandising equipment, data analysis, and the ability to travel up to 10% and operate in a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or other related fields
- 3+ years of people management experience
- 3+ years of experience with Trade Management Systems
- Foundational and functional knowledge of industry trends and tools in the CPG industry
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
- Ability to work with large data sets including pulling and interrupting data independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to large groups virtually and in person
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Negotiation skills with third party vendors
