Job Summary
Sales & Operations Specialist to act as the operational backbone of a mobile pet grooming business. Responsibilities include helping customers select optimal services, coordinating schedules, planning efficient daily routes for groomers, and delivering a seamless, one-on-one experience for pets and owners. Key duties span sales to obtain optimal services, handling inquiries via calls/emails/texts, scheduling appointments, route optimization to maximize on-time arrivals, data management of leads and grooming history, and resolving scheduling conflicts. Strong emphasis on customer service, organization, problem-solving, and maintaining accurate records using online systems. Preferred proficiency with Word/Excel and capability to support grassroots marketing and partnerships for recurring customer growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years+ of pet care industry experience as a bather, groomer, dispatcher, or receptionist with proven knowledge of pet breeds and care
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to professionally support customers, groomers, and owners
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities to calmly and accurately handle daily issues that arise
- Customer service orientation to resolve inquiries and problems promptly, accurately, and with strong customer focus
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
