Sales & Operations Planning Specialist

Job Summary
The S&OP Specialist will execute the Sales & Operations Planning process for Malteurop North America, managing analytics and reporting activities, engaging with Sales and Customer Service to evaluate forecasts versus actual sales, and recommending improvements to supply plans. Responsibilities include ensuring demand and supply alignment, identifying gaps, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to drive customer satisfaction. Key skills required are proficiency in S&OP tools, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency in computer skills like Excel. A bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years' experience in demand planning or supply chain are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration/Finance or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain, preferably in the food processing industry
- Experience working with multiple levels of the functional organization to coordinate the synchronization of supply and demand
- Experience working with S&OP, SAP or ERP-based planning and forecasting systems
- Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VBA Programming
- Ability to travel up to 10% to other Company locations
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance or related fields
- APICS or equivalent trade certification
