Job Summary
Sales Operations Manager – Direct Sales role focused on bringing clarity, rigor, and predictability to the AE motion. Responsible for ensuring a real pipeline, defensible forecast, and data-driven insights; lead weekly pipeline inspections, establish forecasting cadence, refine territory and quota design, audit CRM workflows, and partner with Sales Leadership, Enablement, SDR, Finance, and Business Systems to reduce friction and drive scalable revenue. Emphasizes operating foundations, impact measurement across funnel, velocity, win-rate, and ICP alignment, with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations to improve sales efficiency and forecasting accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations, preferably in Direct/Sales environment
- Ability to establish forecasting cadence and pipeline hygiene
- Experience auditing pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and territory design
- Strong cross-functional partnership with Sales, Enablement, SDR, Finance, Marketing, and IT
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales technology stack; ability to scope CRM/workflow improvements
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale operating foundations for a sales organization
- Track record of delivering actionable insights on funnel performance, win rates, and territory/quota design
- Ability to translate field insights into process improvements for Marketing, Product, and Enablement
- Comfort with performance-driven, data-informed decision-making
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for executive-level partners
