Job Summary
Sales Operations Intern will support pricing, revenue growth, and customer lifecycle analysis, focusing on reporting and business analysis to identify trends, margins, and opportunities. Responsibilities include analyzing sales, pricing, margin, customer and item-level data; evaluating profitability by customer/product/category; identifying margin-improvement opportunities and pricing reviews; tracking customer purchasing patterns; identifying underpenetrated white-space opportunities across product categories; supporting bid work through pricing analysis, margin modeling, and post-bid review; building and maintaining reports using Excel and BI tools (including Qlik); summarizing findings for Sales Operations and leadership; and collaborating with the sales team to understand customer behavior and account needs. Learning focus includes how pricing decisions impact revenue and margin, analyzing customer behavior across the lifecycle, and turning raw data into actionable recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills and willingness to learn BI/reporting tools such as Qlik.
- Comfortable analyzing data and identifying patterns.
- Interested in pricing, profitability, revenue growth, and sales strategy.
- Detail-oriented, curious, and willing to challenge assumptions.
- Able to communicate findings in a clear, practical way.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently after direction is provided.
