Sales Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate with direct and indirect field sales teams to prepare quotations, update CRM records, and manage partner communications via email and CRM tools. Track and qualify leads based on defined criteria, then route opportunities to appropriate field sales contacts while documenting interactions and transactions. Respond to internal inquiries regarding order status and inventory, coordinate with operations to resolve discrepancies, and escalate exceptions as needed. Assist with administrative coordination for events and post-event reporting. Requires frequent travel via commercial airlines or driving to enter active industrial sites, refineries, and remote substations for site surveys, adhering to all mandatory PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales support, inside sales administration, customer operations, or similar support role
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written communication skills (email and internal documentation)
- Comfortable working closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with clear direction
- Ability to quickly learn internal processes and workflows (no product training required)
- Frequent travel via commercial airlines and/or driving is required
- Must be capable of entering active industrial sites, refineries, and remote substations for site surveys, adhering to all mandatory PPE requirements (hard hat, steel-toe boots, FR clothing) and safety protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems preferred (SAP and/or SugarCRM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- College degree preferred but not required
