Job Summary

Sales Operations Analyst II supporting commercial excellence and client success within Thermo Fisher Scientific's Sales Operations. Responsible for coordinating cross-functional processes for contract proposals, budget modifications, and client deliverables; analyzing client requirements; resource allocation; delivering analytics-driven insights; building dashboards and visualizations (Power BI) and ensuring data availability/quality with data engineering teams. Partners with sales reps to answer daily questions, prepare business reviews, and provide customers with order details. Expected to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches, support performance measurement, forecasting, and planning, and automate reporting workflows. Requires strong technical skills and business acumen, with the ability to move from descriptive analytics to diagnostic and prescriptive insights, and to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. The role is flexible to accommodate US hours.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or commercial analytics
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, transformations)
  • Power BI (DAX, Power Query, dashboard design)
  • Cognos (Report Studio)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
