Job Summary
Sales and Operations Advisor focused on delivering effective customer interactions by understanding customer needs and matching them with the right vehicle, inventory, and financing options. Manages the full sales cycle from sales calls to secure appointments and convert visits into completed sales, while performing operational responsibilities such as opening/closing the store, cash handling, inventory management, audits, and administrative tasks. Builds expert knowledge of dealership inventory, financing options, and related sales processes; develops negotiation and customer experience skills; supports onboarding and skill development for new hires; contributes to a positive team environment; progresses through a multi-phase learn-and-earn levels 0–4 for increasing responsibility in sales, operations, inventory management, and leadership. Ensures compliance and delivers a world-class, tailored customer experience in the dealership and across DriveTime family brands.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates or bachelors preferred OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and retail operations
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the previous 3 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a drug test and a background check
