Job Summary
Sales Manager for a hotel, responsible for planning, developing, and implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, increase occupancy, and enhance brand presence. Leads the sales team to identify new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and achieve revenue targets; manages the hotel’s online presence across website, social channels, and OTAs; analyzes market trends and guest feedback for improvements; collaborates with other departments for group events and conventions; works with revenue management to optimize pricing and RevPAR; builds relationships with key clients and industry partners; attends industry events and trade shows; develops and manages the sales and marketing budget; conducts financial analysis to measure campaign ROI; recruits, trains, and leads a high-performing team; fosters a collaborative work environment; requires a Bachelor's degree and proven hotel sales/marketing experience, with strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills and proficiency with hotel management systems and marketing analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in hotel sales and marketing with track record of achieving revenue goals
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems, sales software and marketing analytics tools
- In-depth knowledge of the local and regional hospitality market
