Job Summary
Develop an effective marketing and sales strategic plan to maximize wine distribution within established or growing customer bases. Maintain routine contact with key decision makers and place product on shelves or in displays for maximum exposure. Ensure product is merchandised correctly per standardized procedures, rotate stock appropriately, and display accurate pricing and point of sale materials. Provide timely educational programs and services when necessary, while working with management to monitor sales growth and market penetration using monthly reporting tools. Communicate effectively to resolve billing, ordering, or shipping needs within your designated territory and keep accurate daily and weekly logs of accounts visited. Meet agreed-upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be 21 Years of Age
- Chain retail sales experience preferred
- Wine knowledge preferred
- Demonstrated computer knowledge
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
