Job Summary
Stock, replenish, and merchandise products at designated accounts while placing timely orders to maintain inventory levels and prevent out-of-stock situations. Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards, manage back stock and trade breakage, and conduct store surveys to determine product needs. Execute daily communication, problem resolution, and follow-up to meet customer service expectations, ensuring accounts meet merchandising standards through proper product facing and shelf organization. Transport, replace, and maintain point-of-sale advertising as appropriate for each account. Work a 6:00 am start shift from Friday through Tuesday with weekend coverage required. This role involves driving a personal vehicle and operating manual or powered pallet jacks to perform essential physical functions including lifting up to 50 pounds. Located in the Gainesville area, you will maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers while adhering to all company policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED (General Education Diploma)
- Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product. Certification as required
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must have and maintain current vehicle liability insurance, as specified by the company
- Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance frequently
- Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees and bending at the knees frequently
- Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance frequently
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
- Ability to read information in small, medium and large print
- Ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours during the workday up to 10 hours
- Ability to walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday
- Frequently work in a hot/humid indoor environment
- Ability to use an audio headset to listen to directions in English
- Weekend Work required
- Work overtime as assigned
- Work shifts and work schedules as assigned
- Must comply with dress code or appearance/grooming standards
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree/1-2 Yr. College - Univ. Degree Preferred
- 1+ year previous sales/merchandising experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Ability to use and understand mobile applications
- Proficient in computer application skills
- 1+ year working under minimal, or no supervision preferred
