Job Summary
Sales & Marketing Manager for Plansee's High Performance Materials (refractory metals) in the USA/Canada. Develop and ensure successful sales/marketing strategies, manage pricing/terms/credit/delivery, educate customers on materials and capabilities, generate market intelligence and budgeting data, collaborate with engineers and production, coordinate with product management and sales teams, maintain CRM with customer visits and communications, provide quarterly reviews on account growth and profitability, and travel ~50% to grow sales in the assigned market.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- At least five to seven years industrial sales and marketing experience in a business-to-business environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 sales module desired
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact across cultures
- Ability to meet ITAR/export control requirements
