Job Summary
Sales & Marketing Manager for electronic/technical product sales focusing on PLANSEE High Performance Materials within the USA and Canada. Develops and executes sales and marketing strategies; provides commercial management to customers regarding price, terms, evaluation, and delivery; educates customers on PLANSEE materials, capabilities, and Digital Tools; collaborates with internal stakeholders; maintains account roadmaps and literature; oversees inventories audits; drives growth with Business Division North America; nurtures key accounts and supports negotiations; creates marketing intelligence via CCM; analyzes trends and market opportunities; interfaces with Global HQ in Austria and other PLANSEE facilities; participates in industry shows and visits; ensures customers are informed about HPM products and innovations; travel up to 50% domestically and internationally; ITAR/export control compliance.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of directly related experience and education may be considered.
- Minimum five to seven years industrial sales and marketing experience in a business-to-business environment.
- Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 sales module desired.
- Proven leadership abilities, organization, communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a teamwork fostered environment through collaboration with cross functional team members across diverse cultures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, and prospects.
- Familiarity with Market Intelligence Tools such as CRM and CCM.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time, domestically and internationally.
- Ability to meet requirements to work on ITAR and export control restricted projects.
