Job Summary
Sales & Marketing Coordinator at a resort is responsible for coordinating and executing in-house events and meetings (themed weekends/festivals), managing BEO preparations, coordinating internal communications for marketing activities, updating the website with themed events and weekly activities, coordinating photography assets, ensuring brand standards, and coordinating influencer stays (reservations and agendas). The role supports the DOSM with daily tasks, assists with marketing collateral, and provides daily operational support to the Sales Office (e.g., distributing weekly BEOs, group resumes, and handling calls). Requires prior event planning/coordinating experience, knowledge of hospitality systems and marketing tools (Maestro PMS, Canva, WordPress, MS Word/Excel/Outlook, MailChimp a plus), a valid PA driver’s license, and a college degree preferred in Hospitality Sales and Marketing. The working environment includes offices and outdoor spaces with weekend/holiday/evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Event Planning/Coordinating experience strongly required
- Must possess good interpersonal, organizational, phone, communication, time-management, computer and sales skills
- Candidate must have a strong Food and Beverage background
- College degree preferred with a concentration in Hospitality Sales and Marketing
- Knowledge of Maestro PMS, Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Email marketing platforms (MailChimp) is a plus.
