Job Summary
Sales Coordinator executes the hotel’s sales strategy and supports the Director of Sales to meet occupancy, ADR, extended stay, and market share goals. Responsibilities include assisting with client inquiries, handling administrative duties (contracts, meeting room logistics, group rooming lists, reports), managing SMERF group blocks and meetings, representing the management team at events, coordinating with other hotel departments to deliver services, acting as Manager on duty as required, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and alcohol-service laws. Skills and qualifications emphasize fluent English, professional verbal and written communication, basic math and budgeting concepts, problem solving, organizational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera systems; some overnight travel and a valid driver’s license are required.
