Job Summary
Sales & Marketing Assistant at a recruiting agency startup. Fully remote, 1099 contractor role with hours averaging 5-10 per week. Responsibilities include assisting in implementing marketing campaigns, creating graphics for social media posts, undertaking ad-hoc marketing projects, managing administrative duties, researching potential new clients, and contacting cold prospects. Ideal candidates possess strong written and verbal communication, high organization, multitasking in a deadline-driven environment, familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools, and solid writing and copy-editing skills. Education/experience required: high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years in marketing or equivalent education; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with social media platforms; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva is a plus; Google Workspace proficiency.
