Job Summary
Sales Manager at Wellsworth Hotel focused on driving occupancy and revenue through strategic market development. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with daily Sales department procedures, maintaining knowledge of hotel policies, managing relationships with corporate accounts, agencies, associations, tour operators, sports teams, and other groups, identifying new business opportunities and market segments, creating special packages and promotional advertising, representing the hotel at trade shows and local events, and coordinating effectively with the General Manager and other department managers. Strong emphasis on communication, industry knowledge, and ability to prepare routine reports and presentations. The role requires experience in sales within hospitality, and a high school diploma with hospitality/business education preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years progressive experience in sales
- High school graduate or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or business preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
