Job Summary
Oversee and optimize the dealership's new-vehicle operations and related processes, including inventory management, pricing strategies for new and pre-owned vehicles, and vehicle acquisitions via auctions and trade-ins. Develop marketing plans to promote vehicle inventory, collaborate with sales and service teams to maximize profitability and inventory turnover, monitor market trends to align supply with demand, conduct regular appraisals for trade-ins and pre-owned vehicles to ensure accurate pricing, and ensure compliance with regulatory and dealership standards. Requires 2+ years of prior Sales Manager experience at an automotive dealership, knowledge of acquisition, inventory management, and pricing, strong negotiation and communication skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment checks (background, MVR, drug test).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Sales Manager at an automotive dealership
- Experience in automotive management, specifically car operations
- Knowledge of vehicle acquisition, inventory management, and pricing strategies
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the sales and service departments
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
