Job Summary
Sales Manager role leading a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales goals across equipment, services, and managed IT solutions. Responsibilities include coaching and developing sales talent, establishing performance metrics, driving new business through strategic prospecting and account planning, collaborating with Operations/Marketing/Service Delivery to ensure seamless client experiences, monitoring market trends, forecasting, and using data-driven insights to align with financial objectives. The role emphasizes leadership in consultative, solution-based selling, and promoting Visual Edge IT’s integrated technology solutions, with duties spanning recruitment, training, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of successful B2B sales experience with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets
- Minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership or management role, ideally within technology, managed services, or business solutions industries
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies
- Demonstrated success in coaching and developing sales professionals to achieve measurable performance improvement
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics
- Experience managing complex sales cycles, enterprise-level accounts, and long-term client relationships
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
