Job Summary
Sales Manager responsible for coaching and leading a sales team, driving showroom and internet sales performance, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing a team of salespeople and service/finances staff, conducting daily/weekly sales training, mentoring reps, managing CRM-driven follow-up, establishing delivery procedures, ensuring first service appointments, and achieving monthly and annual dealership/OEM goals. Requires a track record of hitting goals, coaching capability, building and training teams, and strong experience in showroom and internet sales, customer service metrics, and marketing strategies (SEO/SEM, direct mail). The role emphasizes leadership, training, performance monitoring, and driving profitability across the variable operations of the dealership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of SM experience with responsibility for the entire variable operation of a successful dealership
- Successful history of building and training a sales team, strong CSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profits
- Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail and other traditional media
- Experience in Used Vehicle purchasing, merchandising and marketing
- Expertise in supervising the everyday efforts of desk managers and improving F/I income through mentorship and training
