Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and manage five Valuers through weekly 1-to-1s, sales meetings, and structured development plans to maximize auction instructions, entries, and revenue. Oversee the viewing schedule prior to catalogue launches, establish bidding increments, and act as the conductor for live auctions while driving team energy. Personally spearhead high-value account development and support major client pitches, maintaining absolute transparency over the sales pipeline from enquiry to auction entry. Proactively prospect estate agents, solicitors, and investors to generate referrals, partnering with Operations to align sales activity with capacity and meet strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing and scaling a high-performing sales team
- Strong ability to train team members in negotiation, closing, and modern sales methodologies
- Commercially astute with experience using CRM data to monitor activity (calls, conversions, pipeline) and drive performance
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- A resilient leader who leads by example and holds teams accountable with respect
- Proactive, highly organised, and thrives under the pressure of a fast-paced auction cycle
- Passionate about people development and continuous process improvement
Desired Qualifications
