Sales Manager

Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue, profitability, and market share objectives while identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities within industrial manufacturing, OEM, and distribution markets. Manage the complete sales cycle, lead a network of independent sales representatives, and conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and facility tours to strengthen relationships. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to align product solutions, production capacity, and corrective actions with customer requirements. Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements; develop annual forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports; and maintain accurate records within CRM and ERP systems. Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events. Full-time, hybrid remote in Worcester, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of industrial manufacturing sales experience
- Demonstrated success selling industrial components, bearings, machined components, metal stampings, precision components, assemblies, or related engineered products
- Proven track record of generating new business, increasing revenue, and growing strategic customer accounts
- Experience selling to OEMs, industrial manufacturers, distributors, and engineered product markets
- Experience managing independent manufacturers' representatives or external sales organizations
- Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and account management skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning abilities
- Experience utilizing CRM and ERP systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with executive-level decision makers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, bearings, machining, stampings, or industrial component manufacturing
- Existing relationships with OEMs, distributors, and industrial manufacturers throughout North America
- Experience developing strategic pricing initiatives and improving gross margins
- Background supporting custom manufacturing, engineered products, or contract manufacturing environments
- Experience identifying and expanding into new industrial markets
- Leadership experience mentoring sales professionals or managing regional sales organizations
