Job Summary
Drive department volume by prospecting, qualifying, and closing group contracts for meeting rooms, banquet spaces, group blocks, catering, and special events using outbound cold calling, digital response, and local networking. Provide active support across all sales tiers, assist with property-wide initiatives, and host engaging site tours to showcase banquet venues and hotel layouts. Own contract customization within strict SLAs, prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders and catering menus, and lead weekly cross-departmental review meetings. Serve as a live on-site resource during events, audit room blocks, and collaborate with Food & Beverage, Marketing, IT, and hotel divisions. Review final group billing with clients, gather feedback, and secure immediate re-bookings to protect long-term loyalty. Maintain an immaculate sales database by logging touchpoints and tracking team trace dates. Report directly to the Director of Sales as a revenue producer for the Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or related field
- Three (3) years of active sales management experience within the hospitality, hotel, or casino industry
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual group room-night, banquet, and catering revenue targets
- Experience in contract preparation, menu detailing, and collaborative event planning
- Skill in proactive prospecting, cold calling, and professional networking to build a robust pipeline of group and event leads
- Ability to confidently navigate and close group contracts for meeting rooms, banquet spaces, catering, and room blocks
- Proficiency in maintaining clean client profiles, logging touchpoints, and tracking team trace dates in a sales database
- Skill in collaborating with diverse departments like Food & Beverage, IT, Security, and Marketing to coordinate event operations
- Ability to accurately customize pricing grids, protect profit margins, and audit complex post-event billing alongside clients
- Proficiency in writing, detailing, and updating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and creating customized catering menus
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, manage client feedback, and build long-term loyalty to secure immediate re-bookings
- Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission
- Pre-employment drug testing acceptance
