Job Summary
Sales Manager leads solutions and service sales teams, hires and trains branch staff, develops budgets, and drives sales volume and gross margin toward targets. Responsibilities include direct sales activity, proposal generation, customer/vendor/subcontractor coordination, and maintaining a safety-centric culture. Requires deep knowledge of fire detection and security systems, leadership and budgeting skills, NFPA and OSHA familiarity, NICET II preferred, and a track record of managing sales performance and developing high-performing teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in a sales management role within the fire detection and security industry
- NICET Level II preferred
- Proficient in NFPA codes and standards
- Understanding of Profit and Loss statements and key financial drivers
- Able to attract, develop, grow, and retain a team
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
