Job Summary
Lead hotel sales for Courtyard Boise by driving revenue and profitability, guiding the hotel team, and positioning features and benefits to influence buyer decisions. Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, and negotiating new and existing business through outside site tours, sales calls, networking, referrals, trade shows, and digital communication to grow group and catering revenue. Travel locally to conduct outside sales calls, attend trade shows and presentations, and collaborate with leadership to align pricing and revenue strategies with market needs for maximum revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent education/experience
- Experience as a Sales Manager in a like sized property, two years or more preferred
- Experience at a premium-branded, full or focus service hotel required
- Knowledge of local competition and industry trends
- Strong leadership presence with a professional and polished image
- Excellent decision-making ability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be able to multi-task various job duties daily
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
