Job Summary
Lead the sales team to achieve targeted unit sales and gross profit while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team, engaging and motivating staff, managing the negotiation process with Sales Associates, appraising trade-ins, and overseeing showroom, e-commerce, and phone channels. Partner with General Manager to plan inventory, manage controllable expenses for the New and Used Vehicle Departments, and analyze performance to drive improvements. Requires proven leadership in auto retail sales, ability to coach and train others, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven success in auto retail sales
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
