Job Summary
Sales Manager responsible for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, leading day-to-day sales activities, building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives, and driving revenue for the location. Responsibilities include coordinating with off-property sales channels, developing relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing accurate turnover to Event Management, participating in sales calls, generating proposals and contracts, understanding market trends and target customers, closing opportunities based on market conditions, and delivering service excellence to grow share of the account. Requires 2-year or 4-year degree in related fields and 1–3+ years of relevant sales/marketing experience; Marriott International equality statement included.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
