Job Summary
Recruit, hire, and train licensed mortgage loan originators and support staff while exercising administrative control over the branch sales function. Lead Mortgage Loan Origination staff by coaching, motivating, and defining production goals to ensure quality loan origination and profitability. Generate personal production, manage relationships with realtors and customers, and sell loans complying with program guidelines. Provide superior customer service, maintain knowledge of regulatory policies, and create synergy with Operations and Secondary Marketing departments. Track sales production through necessary reports and stay current on real estate and mortgage industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of related experience within the mortgage industry
- Leadership and communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Proficient in MS Windows software
- Travel will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Three years or more of management experience in mortgage sales preferred
- operations background a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or economics is preferred
