Job Summary
Sales Manager role in Ouagadougou blending office work and extensive field visits across Burkina Faso. You will acquire new corporate customers locally, drive lead generation, onboarding, and expansion through upselling, and manage onboarded, inactive, and churned accounts. Collaborate with compliance, product, and operations to relay customer feedback and support continuous improvements. Requires 5+ years in customer success/account management/sales, in fintech or financial services, and fluency in English and French. Strong CRM and data-analysis skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to split time between office and field visits to build customer relationships. This is a full-time position with a focus on growing international payments adoption for business clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in customer success, account management, or sales roles, ideally in fintech, banking, international payments, or financial services
- Proven track record in managing and growing B2B relationships in emerging markets
- Fluent in English, French and local languages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Results-driven, highly organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficiency with CRM tools and data analysis to monitor and enhance customer performance
- Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships, onboarding, and upselling
