Job Summary
Execute multiple sales strategies to increase the hotel's client base and top line revenue across designated segments. Qualify potential business through pre-call planning, identify hot buttons, and overcome obstacles while conducting proactive sales calls to meet weekly goals. Respond to all leads and inquiries timely, customizing responses to client needs, and manage day-to-day social media activities including posting, commenting, and content creation. Maintain knowledge of competition and market trends to apply effective strategies, prepare weekly reports, and document all sales activities and bookings. Present the hotel to prospective clients through storytelling, property tours, and networking events, while participating in local hospitality community events.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of relevant sales, customer service, or hospitality experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Ability to resolve problems effectively
- Ability to manage stressful situations with poise and finesse
