Sales Manager - New Home Sales

Job Summary

Lead and develop the sales team to achieve community-level and divisional sales targets while monitoring performance metrics and conversion rates. Establish short-term operational plans to drive traffic conversion, manage the pipeline, and ensure sales office readiness for a professional customer experience. Partner with cross-functional teams including construction, marketing, and design to align on schedules, pricing, and product information. Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to team members through onboarding, role-playing, and field shadowing. Resolve escalated customer issues and conduct market analysis to inform sales strategy and promotional activities. Support community marketing initiatives, realtor engagement, and new community openings. This role requires weekend work and flexible scheduling aligned with customer traffic, with limited travel for meetings and training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or a related field
  • Experience supervising or leading sales professionals or support staff
  • Weekend work
  • Flexible scheduling aligned with customer traffic and sales needs
  • Ability to walk through model homes, construction-adjacent areas, and community spaces
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during customer interactions or administrative tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry light materials such as brochures, signage, or supplies
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, and communication tools regularly
  • Ability to work across indoor and outdoor environments as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in homebuilding sales management or community-level leadership roles
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and contract processes
  • Experience supporting cross-functional planning and customer experience initiatives
